Girolamo Russo Nerina Etna Bianco 2021:
What James Beard said about this wine...
“Inviting aromas of lemon peel, wet stone and white tea. Medium-to full-bodied with a lovely, silky texture. Even-keeled and bright with a mineral backbone that adds complexity to the citrus palate. A charmer.” We have to agree!
I Custodi - Etna Bianco Ante 2019:
The I Custodi Etna Bianco Ante is a blend of 90% Carricante amd a 10% mix of Minella and Grecanico. The color is a greenish straw yellow, with yellow fruit aromatics and a hint of fennel. The palate is dry, with good structure, bright acidity, great freshness, and a pleasantly salty finish.
Girolamo Russo Etna Rosato 2022:
This Nerello-Mascelese reveals a floral bouquet with wildflowers, peach blossom and whiffs of zagara, or Sicilian lemon blossom. It offers subtle support at the back thanks to an especially fine and crisp mouthfeel.
I Custodi Etna Rosso, Aetneus 2015:
This Rosso is a blend of Alicante Bouschet, Nerello Mascalese, and Nerello Cappucio grapes. Perfumed raspberry, a rocky element, and friendly acidity are the stars of the show for this stunning wine.
Girolamo Russo 'a Rina Etna Rosso 2020:
Ruby red with an elegant nose of good complexity and notes of cherries and plums, leather and tobacco. Fresh and complex, with supple, velvety tannins, good structure. Pleasurable to drink, with lovely length.
